The MAZ Professional Membership is designed for individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in marketing through formal education, relevant work experience, and a strong understanding of marketing ethics and professional skills. This membership category recognizes professionals poised to make significant contributions to the marketing field.

Professional Membership Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for MAZ Professional Membership, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Academic Qualifications: Candidates must possess a diploma or higher in marketing or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Marketing Ethics and Professional Skills Test: Completion of the Marketing Ethics and Professional Skills Assessment offered by the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe is mandatory. This assessment helps develop a foundational understanding of marketing ethics and the professional skills required in the workplace. Before taking the assessment, candidates should read and
  understand the MAZ Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, which can be downloaded here.

Important Notes

• The Marketing Ethics and Professional Skills Test is an online multiple-choice exam consisting of 50 questions. The passing score is 75%. Candidates must complete this test within four weeks of paying the membership fee.
• Retakes of the test are allowed multiple times and within four weeks of paying the membership fee.
• Membership fees must be paid in advance and are strictly non-refundable.
